"Michelle and I worked together (virtually) for ten months following a period of depression. Having had CBT and other counselling before I was keen to explore EMDR with her. Part of my trauma was the death of my mum, thanks to our collaboration her ten year anniversary passed recently without triggering a recurrence. Michelle’s kind and gentle demeanour was crucial along with her patience and understanding. I felt very comfortable allowing my emotions to overflow in sessions with her. As much as I will miss our sessions, it’s the kindest reward for me to say that I hope I never have to see her again”
"By way of feedback I just wanted to follow up & say what a totally positive experience I have had through attending your psychology / counselling sessions. I wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch again if I needed further help or wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you should anyone else I know need similar help & support.
I must admit that I wasn’t totally sure what to expect at the outset as I have always previously been able to manage quite stressful situations myself… But due to the combination of events - it built up to a level of stress, anxiety and then depression that I have never experienced before. Hopefully now with the better understanding & techniques I have picked up I will never experience again. I think I will be better equipped next time to spot the signs before things snowball out of control and to deal with things in a more structured & rationale way.
I don’t really have anything else to compare too, other than prior session with another counsellor where I actually left more stressed than when I went in… (& so didn’t go back)
But everything ‘A1’ & excellent with A Positive Mind.
I have also had good help from friends & family – but there is definitely a value in talking to an independent 3rd party / expert…
Everything else is going great now and I am probably in a far better position / state of mind now than I have been in many years… In short I have a very Positive Mind now."
