About my qualificiations & experience

My Career in psychology spans more than nineteen years.  I currently work in private practice  in Benfleet in Essex and from Longcroft House, 1 minutes walk from London Liverpool Street station.   I have worked in private mental health for The Priory Group where I specilised in CBT and various mental health settings within the NHS including severe and enduring mental health services, community mental health services, older adult services and Learning disability and mental health services.

I established a private practice in 2006 which provides assessment and treatment tailored to individuals’ needs. My work involves helping people to overcome emotional and psychosocial difficulties, counselling through difficult periods in their life, personal exploration and development, medico-legal work, and psychological
aspects of sport and performance enhancement.

I obtained my first degree in psychology (BSc Hons) from Middlesex University, my Masters in Counselling Psychology (MSc) and Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (PPDip) from London Metropolitan University, and my Masters in Sport & Exercise Psychology (MSc) from Staffordshire University.  I have also compleded the foundation course in Clinical Hypnosis with the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis.  I will be commencing part 1 EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reporocessing) training in November 2016, and will be compleiting parts 2 & 3 in 2017.
